UCC, UU, Catholic, and other church related youth were hosted by Encanto the night before the March for Our Lives event for discussion, poster making, strategizing, and a sleepover.

First Church Phoenix is a distribution point for Borderlands Food Bank which gives 60 pounds of fresh produce monthly for $10.

Rev. Teresa Blythe has published a book, Spiritual Direction 101Teresa is the Visitation Pastor and Spiritual Direction Minister at First Church Phoenix.

Church of the Painted Hills and Casas Adobes UCC joined together to provide food and serve 50+ men at the Primavera Men’s Shelter.

Taos UCC has a meditation group that meets every Wednesday.

Eleven members of The Good Shepherd UCC in Sahuarita just returned from Guatemala where, among other things, they gave 23 students scholarships for continuing education.

United Church of Angel Fire is joining their neighboring Catholic Church on Good Friday for a special Station of the Cross devotion that commentates the life of Christ in his last days.

Shadow Rock UCC hosted students for a week from Princeton and Hamline universities during their spring break while they studied immigration issues in the Southwest.

Church of the Good Shepherd in Albuquerque held an all-day sewing session to make clothes for underprivileged first graders and is doing it again on April 24th.

First Church Phoenix is hosting an open public forum on Mar 27th, 7 PM, to discuss the rise in hate groups. 

PRIDE PARADE walkers can meet up in the parking lot at First Church Phoenix at 9 AM on April 8th. Wear a hat, good shoes, and sunscreen, and bring signs, posters, and water, etc.

Desert Palm will be walking in the Ahwatukee Easter Parade on Mar 31st.

Church of the Painted Hills is helping two Syrian families adjust to their new life. Laptops have been donated and individuals are tutoring children and parents. 

Scottsdale UCC begins a new book study of Marcus Borg's The Heart of Christianity" on Thursday mornings and evenings, April 26 thru June 7.
