Arizona Faith Network has already welcomed over 15,000 visits to their Heat Relief Centers this summer. Each visit represents a neighbor seeking refuge from triple-digit temperatures, often with no other place to go.
But the need keeps growing. Right now, vulnerable individuals and families are facing historic challenges, limited shelter access, overwhelmed services, and life-threatening exposure.

You are invited to a Virtual Statewide Interfaith Training on Rapid Response for Accompaniment hosted by Corazón Arizona and the Arizona Faith Network. People of all ages are welcome to join the Interfaith Youth and Young Adult Conversations, held on the third Sunday of each month. The IYC program seeks to help educate and connect young leaders from diverse faiths throughout the state. These young leaders engage in interfaith dialogue and interfaith education experiences with trained religious leaders from faiths represented throughout the state. Leadership training and development is offered in important areas including civil dialogue, social justice, advocacy work and public speaking.

Over 1,500 bags filled with a wide variety of health-oriented supplies were assembled for handing out by community members and at cooling and respite centers. AFN thanks everyone who participated and supported the event through donations of supplies and funds.
