NEW open letter to the US government about immigration policy in the time of COVID-19

Can you add your name to this NEW open letter to the US government about immigration policy in the time of COVID-19? Deadline to sign is June 12.

Closing the border. Rejecting asylum-seekers. Deporting children and adults, including those who have COVID-19. Spreading the virus throughout the world. Allowing immigration detainees to die in jailThese are just a few of the immigration policies the Trump administration has implemented, using the coronavirus as an excuse to enact its already-formulated, anti-immigrant agenda.

Speaking out against these policies, the Interfaith Immigration Coalition is circulating a national sign-on letter for people of faith and faith-based organizations. Sign on here. The letter closes June 12. Graphics for sharing are available here and in this toolkit

We are also urging our network to issue press statements calling on the faithful among us to live the values we claim, submit letters to the editor, and contact Congress. A complete toolkit is available here. Please share the toolkit and sign on letter far and wide!
