SWC Church events (this list will be updated as churches submit their information):

Gloria Smith (Encanto Community Church) is hosting an overnight empowerment gathering on March 23 at 7 p.m., and the group is marching in the Phoenix event on March 24. Our D.C. group will join them by video conference. Hear the voices of youth, parents, teachers, and community leaders in support of Safe Schools ... Honor the lives of victims lost to gun violence in schools ... Celebrate the value of our students and energize for demanding protection of our students and teachers. Gathering is the product of Encanto Community UCC, First UCC, and Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Phoenix.

Rincon Congregational UCC: The Tucson  march will be held Saturday, March 24 starting at Jácome Plaza (located next to the Main Library at 10 W. Pennington) at 11 a.m., and march to the UA Mall. If you want to march with other members of Rincon, please meet across the street (the other side of Stone Avenue) in front of Ike’s coffee shop at 10:50.

St. Paul's UCC is co-hosting the Rio Rancho march. "Also, here is the link to a local TV story about the walk-outs on the 17th.
