Goodbyes and hellos at The Good Shepherd UCC

January 09, 2024 in Church News

The Good Shepherd UCC had a great celebration on Sunday, December 17, thanking Rev. Rebecca McElfresh for her ministry at the Good Shepherd.

Dr. Toni was on hand for the celebrations, too. There were two worship services and a reception in her honor and for her husband Jim who has been a great supporter of her ministry and the church.

Rebecca’s impactful ministry touched so many. Congratulations, Rev. Rebecca, the best is yet to come!

The Good Shepherd has now welcomed Rev. ellie hutchison as they begin their ministry there as a contract minister focusing on Pastoral Care and Spiritual Growth. ellie preached at the church three times last summer and were very well received. The Good Shepherd describes ellie as having many gifts, a vibrant personality, a deep faith, and a love for ministry. Blessings on your new ministry, ellie!
