Desert Garden UCC is offering a free webinar featuring the Rev. Anthony Robinson. The Rev. Robinson will deliver his lecture How to Live When Things Fall Apart at 10 a.m. After a short break for participants to submit questions, he will lead a Q and A from 11 a.m. until noon.
The Rev. Robinson is a widely known theologian, author and speaker. His best-selling books include: Transforming Congregational Culture and What’s Theology Got to Do With: Convictions, Vitality and the Church. He has served as visiting faculty or lecturer at a number of institutions including Seattle University, Princeton Seminary, Brite Divinity School, and Pacific School of Religion.
This is the inaugural lecture in the Rev. Dr. Samuel Sawitski Lecture Series established by Desert Garden UCC in recognition of his passion for teaching. The Rev. Dr. Sawitski served the church for a decade prior to his death in July 2019.
