I spoke about church libraries last week. Must be a trend! First Congregational of Prescott has upgraded their library with furniture and lighting and done a deep cleaning. Must be winter!

First Congregational of Albuquerque is collecting money for Annunciation House in El Paso. Annunciation House is the primary regional hospitality center for refugees being released by ICE.

Shadow Rock is creating a new video for its website using members reading a set script that will be edited to highlight many voices. Fun idea.

Rincon will vote at its Congregational Meeting whether to “regularize” its shelter ministry and add a staff person to administer.

Black Mountain is responding to a severe shortage at the Foothills Food Bank by asking its members and friends to contribute generously.

Scottsdale UCC is asking members for extra wall calendars, especially with animal pictures, that one of their special ed teachers can use with her class.

Church of the Beatitudes has been conducting an NFL Charity Football Pool for the last few months. The final winner will be decided at their Super Bowl party at the church on Feb 3rd at 4. Sounds like a fun event.
