First Congregational UCC Albuquerque is presenting a class series on Islam using a DVD series developed by the UCC, ELCA, DOC, Episcopal church and others.

Church of the Good Shepherd in Albuquerque “Has a Heart” this season and is collecting personal care items for a local food bank.

At 11 AM on the 17th of each month, members of Shadow Rock and other Phoenix area churches meet at the ICE Field Office to offer support, prayers, and snacks to those waiting in line.

First Congregational UCC of Phoenix is collecting cantaloupe-sized river rock to build a labyrinth.

Desert Palm has posted information on two ways to help Refugees in AZ:

  1. Several refugee women are holding a month-long Global Market with handicrafts, Henna painting, and Syrian sweets. The Market is open from 10-4, M-Sat, through Feb 28th. 1 West Washington, Phoenix. Call 602-687-2882
  2. PCs for Refugees is trying to provide a free computer for every refugee family in AZ. Donate your old machines. See website for more info. pcsforrefugees.com

Rincon is letting know about a workshop in Tucson on Feb 24th at the UU Church of Tucson on “Immigrant Justice Solidarity”. It is geared towards activists, organizations and churches to aid them in taking action toward local Immigrant justice struggles. RSVP to the Facebook Event.
