Earth Summit Recap

The rave reviews keep coming in for the Jim Antal Keynote Address from the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Samuel! But that was far from the only highlight in the Summit. Hearts were moved by the artwork of our children and youth. Inspiration abounded with the story of this year's Dollie Burwell Prophetic Action Award Winner: the Concord Chapter of Climate Hope Affiliates. Finally, an outstanding panel stimulated our minds and spirits on matters of energy justice. Watch the entire summit now!

Action Sheet Spotlights Upside Down World of Values

After being part of the successful effort to defeat the Trump administration's proposed cuts to 2026 funding for the EPA, Climate Hope Affiliates is rallying again to beat back a renewed effort as the administration seeks to cut EPA funding by 52% while boosting military spending by 44%. Is your local media covering the threat to EPA funding? Make sure it does with this month's Climate Hope Affiliates action sheet.

Updates to Chapter Resources Page

The Rev. Dr. Mitch Nelson from Keawala'i Congregational Church in Maui has published a new book entitled Christian Spiritual Ecology: A New Approach to the Human/Nature Relationship. The book puts forth a vision for how a Christian spiritual ecology can be lived out in the practice of a harmonious relationship between humanity, God, Jesus, and nature. Check out the book!
