Hope House has a new house manager

July 23, 2022 in Faith In Action

"The dream is becoming a reality." -Gale Lothrop

Hope House of Sedona has found a new house manager, and have interviewed families that are ready to move in.

“My name is Regina Rose Bengson-Alonzo, and I am the new house manager at Hope House of Sedona. I couldn't be more excited for this amazing opportunity to help families reach their full potential, that they would otherwise not be able to achieve on their own.

“This cause is so dear and close to my heart, as just recently I found myself a homeless single mother of three amazing children. Having gone through a divorce, that I never thought would happen, but I guess we don't ever think it will or ever plan for that. Yet, I found myself with no place to live and no vehicle of my own. Walking 2 hours to see my kids after working all day, just to see them for 20 minutes. The 2 hour walk back was the time to think. Think of where am I gonna stay tonight? Am I gonna eat tonight? I hope no one tries to bother me tonight. I wish the Hope House was available back then when I was in that situation.”
