Andra Moran, singer/songwriter, worship leader, and co-founder of the Convergence Music Project (CMP), talks with Board member Amanda Udis-Kessler about CMP and its resources, and shares her observations about what is happening in progressive worship music these days. Andra will also share two of her songs with us.

Andra Moran lives in Nashville, Tennessee where she works as a songwriter, singer, author, worship designer and freelance touring musician in a variety of settings. Andra has released eight full length albums, three EPs and a bilingual album titled Chant Spontané for the Reform Church of France. Her music can be found in congregational resources including songbooks, hymnals and online curriculum.

In addition to her work in concert and commissioned music, Andra is a consultant in worship design, modern liturgical music and ministry in churches and conferences across the country. She is regularly engaged as a clinician and workshop leader, teaching songwriting, worship design and creative expression.

She cofounded the Convergence Music Project and is one of its leaders. She co-authored “Brim: Creative Overflow in Worship Design” and won an Editor’s Choice Award from Worship Leader Magazine. She is the Creative Director and Worship Pastor for The Bridge at Woodmont Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Nashville.
