Ecclesiastical Council for ellie hutchison

March 09, 2023 in Conference News

You’re invited to attend the Ecclesiastical Council for ellie hutchison of Church of the Beatitudes, for approval for ordination to the ministry (pending call), on Sunday, March 26th at 3:00 pm MST, via Zoom.

You’re invited to REGISTER in advance:

https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMkf-mopjwpHtJ0NLwPxqqXf8THw7QEoRMx

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link for joining the meeting. (The above link itself WILL NOT take you into the meeting, you must register first.)

As part of our covenantal responsibility as churches, conference and clergy, all churches of the Southwest Conference are invited to send three delegates who are authorized to act on behalf of their church. Every authorized minister holding standing or official status in the Southwest Conference (ordained, active retired, exempt, commissioned, lay minister, and Members in Discernment) and each lay delegate (up to a maximum of three lay persons per church in all of the Southwest Conference) shall be entitled to vote. A two-thirds vote is required for action. A quorum shall consist of a simple majority of churches in the geographic area (Central Arizona), up to six, and as wide a representation of clergy as possible from this area. It shall be the responsibility of the Committee on Church and Ministry, acting for the Conference, to see that a quorum is present. Friends, family, other non-voting SWC members and non-SWC visitors and supporters may have voice but no vote.

The candidate’s Ordination and Marks of Ministry Papers should be read ahead of time. Copies may be obtained electronically at Beatitudes Church website. If the link does not work, please visit the Beatitudes website - go to Our Community Tab and scroll down to ellie hutchison to view the required writings, certifications, and letters of recommendation.

Yours in faith,
