Share Christ's Love Today: Support UCC's Annual Fund

October 28, 2022 in Conference News

Dear Friends in Christ:

We are a people divided, a country split on too many issues to name. And many are the powers that thrive on keeping us divided, pitting one person or group against another. But you are different. You are part of the United Church of Christ. Together, we:

  • Advocate for the right of each person to vote freely and without restraint, promoting voting rights acts in the face of those who would exclude others from the polls in the longstanding horrible practices of racism and white supremacy

  • Unite in our support of those in Ukraine and other places around the world whose democracy and very lives are being threatened and lost

  • Build up our churches and clergy through this COVID time, including the recent “Space Between Summit” focused on caring for congregations and pastors finding their way through a pandemic-informed way of being church

  • Engage churches, members, and the public in Join the Movement for Racial Justice, a bold initiative to eradicate racism now and for decades to come

  • Enshrine the God-given voices and rights of nature in our courts of law

Together we are stronger than the divisions. Together our churches are stronger in witness to Christ’s love for all people. Together we offer extravagant welcome and radical hospitality to a world seeking lives of deeper meaning and greater value.

We need you in order to do this work. Your financial support is crucial to living out our unified ministry as the United Church of Christ. Your gift today builds bigger tables, opens voting to all, works against war, upholds our churches, sustains the beauty of creation, and embraces those who believed God could never love them.

Please give generously to expand this powerful movement of welcoming all, loving all, and seeking justice for all, united in Spirit and inspired by God’s grace. Gifts can be made by clicking the button below. You may also text UCC to 41444. For more information on how to give through a Donor Advised Fund, or make a stock or planned gift, contact our Development Strategist, Jacqueline Owen, at owenj@ucc.org or 1-800-846-6822.

Shalom,

Rev. John Dorhauer

General Minister & President

PS: Time and time again people share with me their stories of how the UCC saved their life. You make this possible. Thank you!
