Retired Clergy Zoom Gathering.jpg

Topic: Continuing education for retired clergy

January 30, 2021 in Conference News

Retired Clergy Zoom Gathering: February 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM MST

Facilitators:

  • Rev. Jim Meadows (retired, long-time SWC settled and interim pastor)

  • Rev. Dr. Randi Walker (retired pastor and Pacific School of Religion church history professor)

Given what we actually do as retired ministers, how do we decide what kind of continuing education we need beyond boundary training?

How do we as retired clergypersons keep up to date on our continuing education requirements?

Join the Retired Clergy Zoom Gathering Feb. 18 at 1 PM to share wisdom with each other on these questions, perhaps make some plans to do continuing education together, and possibly entertain the question of how continuing education relates to our decisions to remain active or enter exempt status.
