First Congregational Prescott's youth trip to the border

First Congregational Prescott’s youth shared their itinerary from their June trip. They stayed at The Good Shepherd UCC and their host was Rev. Randy Mayer. They visited La Casa Misericordia Migrant Shelter in Nogales, Mexico; accompanied Humane Borders to put out water in the desert; traveled to Sasabe, Mexico to see the Library project and take donations to the community; then traveled back home to Prescott to share about their experience during and after the worship service.

Common Ground on the Border canceled, EXCEPT for lectures

From Church of the Good Shepherd UCC:

It is with much regret that we must cancel a large portion of Common Ground on the Border this year. However, we will still offer the border lectures on Saturday morning (January 15). We will be able to have some present on our patio and we'll offer these lectures on Zoom as well. We will also be able to offer a concert on the patio at a time of day when temperatures will be suitable.
