Raise your voice and join Grammy Award-winning singer, choral conductor, and vocal activist Melanie DeMore for a joyful day of music-making at Shadow Rock UCC on Saturday, October 10. Learn 3- and 4-part songs by ear as Melanie leads spirituals, folk songs, originals, and more in a welcoming, no-experience-needed community sing.
Registration is $25, and all are welcome.

Renowned singer-songwriter Melanie DeMore is a Grammy Award winner, choral conductor and vocal activist who believes in the transformative power of voices raised in song. Her vocal workshops draw from African-American folk music, spirituals, traditional ballads and her original compositions.
Ms. DeMore has taught her unique musical program, Sound Awareness, in schools, prisons, and youth organizations around the world. She has shared the stage with Pete Seeger, Laura Nyro, Odetta, Richie Havens and Judy Collins, among others, and is active in the international Threshold Choir movement.
