Desert Garden UCC’s week of collecting electronic devices for re-cycling was exceedingly successful. In 2022, their first year of having the recycling event, they collected 15,000 pounds of electronics over 8 days. This year the report from AZ StRUT, who receives all the electronics, is that they collected 20,468 pounds of electronics in four days. This included desktop computers, laptops, cell phones, TVs, numerous cables, and some CRT’s (the old tube TVs). They even had a Dish antenna donated. Thanks for everyone who contributed to this fantastic ministry knowing that none of these electronics will end up in a landfill. A great community ministry.
