Congratulations, Bonnie McNair and Yuma UCC!

February 11, 2023 in Church News

Rev. Bonnie McNair retired from her call as the Night Staff Chaplain at Yuma Regional Medical Center on February 1, 2023. Yuma United Church of Christ celebrated with Rev. Bonnie her retirement as a chaplain. She remains the pastor of the church.

At the Yuma UCC Annual Meeting, they voted on and adopted a covenant to become a W.I.S.E. congregation.  The information has been sent to the UCC Mental Health Network.

Yuma UCC will begin a Spanish class for the congregation in March.

They’re now meeting in person the first Sunday of the month and will continue to meet on Zoom the rest of the month.

“We can’t wait to see how the Still Speaking God will guide us as we continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the community.”
