Church of the Red Rocks is planning a mission trip to Guatemala next Feb.......fundraisers start in the fall!

Red Rocks is sponsoring a “Community Talk” on July 5th at 5PM by Jane Jozoff, a former Commissioner of the Arts for Arizona and a Trustee for many AZ art organizations. The talk is titled “Arts to The Rescue”. 

Scottsdale UCC is organizing for its Family Camp over Labor Day Weekend at Mingus camp.

First Cong. Albuquerque will also be camping that same weekend at Manzano Mountain Stare Park.

Desert Palm has 3 high schoolers headed to WRYE this week!

Church of The Beatitudes filled 40 shoeboxes with personal care items that were handed out on Father’s Day at the Sunnyslope Men’s Shelter.

First Church Phoenix is hosting a neighborhood meeting where a collaborative group of folks can discuss issues arising in the downtown area. June 26th, 10AM

Shadow Rock UCC takes the month of July off as a “sabbath”. Their members are encouraged to visit other churches during this time, so keep an eye out!

Pastor Brady Abel of United Church of Sun City heard about a pastor asking his congregation to buy him a $54 million jet. Although Brady thinks that would be fun, he asks his church to keep supporting all the ministries of United Church instead.

Rev Talitha Arnold from United Church of Santa Fe will become a regular panelist on radio station KSFR’s (101.1 FM) “Santa Fe Forum” where locals discuss issues of the day in a civilized manner. Mondays at 6:30 PM.

Church of the Palms is asking every member to sit in a pew and table different than their usual and introduce themselves to someone new each week this summer! C’mon, we all know we’re guilty of routine!
