Sedona Welcoming Faith Traditions from Around the World

Interfaith Dialog with Scholars from Around the World July 29

The Church of the Red Rocks invites us to join them for an important interfaith dialog with SUSI scholars from around the world on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.

SUSI is the “Study of the U.S. Institutes for Scholars on Religious Pluralism and Democratic Values in the United States” which is sponsored by the US State Department. The Dialogue Institute, which is housed at Temple University in Philadelphia, is the organization managing the study.

Eighteen scholars will be in Sedona July 29, at The Church of the Red Rocks as part of their study of U.S. history, society, and institutions through the lens of religious pluralism in the US. Six of the scholars will make brief presentations on how their experiences in the US have impacted their views on religious pluralism. Following their presentations there will be a time for questions and answers with the full complement of scholars and the audience.
