Employment Opening Director of Church Administration for Rincon Congregational, UCC, Tucson, AZ

Rincon Congregational, United Church of Christ is a progressive faith community, an Open and Affirming, and Just-peace Church.  Since Rincon was founded in 1955, it has been committed to be a leader in social justice, and community outreach. The Director of Church Administration (DCA) reports to and is directly supervised by the Senior Pastor.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with performance reviews at 90 days and at the end of one year. Applications accepted until June 16, 2017 or until the position is filled. Starting date July 31, 2017.

Areas of Responsibility

The DCA is the first person members and visitors to our church campus meet during the work week, and needs to project hospitality, openness, compassion, patience and professionalism in all inter-personal relations. The DCA stewards daily operations of the church and its facilities, manages scheduling and building use, and oversees all activities, procedures, and equipment which keep the church operations flowing smoothly. Qualified candidates will possess good computer skills and some experience with audio and video equipment. Experience with Microsoft Office Publisher, Word, and Excel, Wavepad or other MP3 editing software, website Content Management System, Email publisher software and electronic calendar software is preferred.
