Earth Justice Sunday at Taos UCC

October 20, 2017 in Church News

SUNDAY OCT 29 10-11 AM, TAOS:

Come see the amazing new 10-min film "Ode to Standing Rock," crafted by Taos' own Peter Walker & Lyla June Johnston. The film will be part of an hour event as we dig into the theme "Earth Justice & Everyday Heroes" @ Taos UCC. We meet at SOMOS, 108B Civic Plaza Dr. Todd Wynward--author, wilderness leader, school founder, and this congregation's Minister for Social Justice & Earth Justice-- brings the message. Also featured: a guitar/ cello/ violin ensemble performing U2. Earth Communion will be offered to all.

Taos UCC is a new multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, gay and straight and gender-fluid community of faith and social justice, based on love for all creation. For more information: Rev. Pamela Shepherd taosucc@gmail.com  taosucc.org
