From Arizona Faith Network:

Moral Monday Action at Senator Sinema's Office

Monday, July 26th, 8:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Kachina Park, 4304 E Campbell Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85018

The Arizona Faith Network, as part of the Arizona Coalition to End the Filibuster, is organizing a nonviolent direct action on July 26th. This action will call on Senator Kyrsten Sinema to pass key voting rights legislation, including the For the People Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, and to put an end to the Filibuster. Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. William Barber, Barbara Arnwine, and other national leaders will join to train, speak, and lead us in this movement.

Please register to attend a training on July 25th by experienced practitioners of nonviolent action that will be provided.

A shared commitment to Kingian Nonviolence is an essential basis of unity for this action. Forward together! Sign up here if you are interested or inspired to be part of this decisive action.

This nonviolent direct action will include a rally, march, and potential optional sit-in held in the moral tradition of civil disobedience exemplified by John Lewis and SNCC, Dr. King, the Dreamer movement, and other freedom struggles. It is suggested to arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. at Kachina Park.
