From First Church Phoenix:
Did you know that Powered By Love serves over 200 unsheltered neighbors every week right here on our church campus? In addition to our daily meal outreach, we also support local individuals/families with emergency food boxes—distributing over 500 lbs of food already this year!
Thanks to your donations, volunteer efforts, and ongoing support, our Unhoused Pantry is on track to distribute over 10,000 lunches this year—our highest volume to date—as we continue seeing steady year-over-year growth in community need.
By The Numbers:
10,000+ lunches projected for 2026.
$1.71 average cost per lunch pack (up ~10¢ from last year due to rising food costs).
5 Days a Week providing lunches, hydration, clothing, and hygiene essentials.
How You Can Help: Amazon Wishlist
To keep our bins stocked with shelf-stable items, we’ve created a direct Amazon Wishlist! This allows church members and supporters to purchase high-demand pantry items—such as soft-chew granola bars, fruit pouches, juice packs, socks, and travel-size toiletries—and have them shipped directly to Powered By Love for pantry distribution.
You can choose to make a one-time donation or set up recurring deliveries for items we use daily!
