United Church of Santa Fe is collecting 2024 calendars and unused Christmas cards for men at Santa Fe’s State Penitentiary.  We all get so many calendars from our favorite nonprofits this time of year and can only use one (if that).  Maybe churches can collect and send a bulk package to United???

We hear a lot about giving of our time, talents, and treasure, but some of us may not have a clear picture of what our “time, talent and treasure” might be.  Church of the Palms has developed a survey for its members to help discern them.  Don’t actually fill out the survey unless you are a member, of course, but look at the questions and see if it triggers some ideas in you that can steer you to a greater sharing of your gifts in your church setting. https://forms.gle/Y5jYABe21JJySp6J7

In celebration of their church’s 80th anniversary, Encanto Community Church is soliciting entries to add a supplement to their already amazing church recipe book! This is church that knows how to gather to eat! It’s also a church that knows how to sell! Their parking lot sale made nearly $6000!

Casas Adobes has a new Assistant Administrator and Digital Content Manager, Jay Deskins.  Some of you may know Jay from his previous position with ICS as a liaison to faith communities, or when he was the ministry staff person for the Arizona Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) youth, with whom the Southwest Conference of the UCC had partnered for a time. As well as being experienced with the administrative and communications areas of ministry and non-profit work, Jay is also an ordained pastor in the Christian Church (DOC). Jay's spouse, Kelley Dick, is the Senior Minister of Saguaro Christian Church in Tucson.
