I can tell you all the grand and challenging resolutions we tackled, all the breathtakingly inspiring worship and sermons from great speakers we heard, all the information from a denomination hard at work we received. But, what I appreciate most, perhaps, on this Sunday after Baltimore, are these three simple, new - yet very old - vessels that now shape us as a particular tribe of Jesus-followers. A resident at Beatitudes Campus, Don was an Emeritus Professor at Arizona State University, College of Public Programs, where he taught and held various administrative positions for thirty years. After he retired, he wrote his memoir, From Blind Obedience to a Responsible Faith and became a blogger on his website responsiblefaith.com.
Bill called the office today (Friday, June 16) to say he is doing well and is officially home from the hospital. He wanted to thank everyone for the kind wishes and many prayers.
