Clergy Retreat 2019 October 28–30, Tucson

Active and retired clergy, specialized ministers, parish ministers, and members in discernment are invited to attend the SWC Annual Clergy Retreat held at the beautiful Redemptorist Renewal Center in Tucson, beginning with lunch at noon on Monday, October 28, and concluding at 9:45 am on Wednesday, October 30.

Healthy Ministry Modules 3 and 4 will bookend the Clergy Retreat; arrive at the beautiful Redemptorist Renewal Center a few hours early and / or linger a few hours longer and get your boundary training in. Separate registration and payment required.

Module 3: HEALTHY BOUNDARIES FOR FINANCES, RESOURCES, & WORK, Monday, Oct. 28, 9 a.m. – noon

Module 4: HEALTHY BOUNDARIES FOR USE OF TECHNOLOGY & SOCIAL MEDIA, Wednesday, Oct. 30, 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Your invitation to rest and renew together will include blocks of free time to gather or enjoy solitude, self-guided sacred spaces for practicing contemplation, labyrinth walking, hiking, and small group gatherings to share favorite and nurturing spiritual practices that sustain your ministry. Our small group theme is “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them” (Matthew 18:20, NRSV).

There’s also a swimming pool (free for our use) and massage therapist (separate fee) onsite.

The prices for the retreat are as follows:

  • 2 nights (full attendance) single occupancy $315

  • 2 nights (full attendance) double occupancy $265

  • 1 night single occupancy $175

  • 1 night double occupancy $150

Commuters pay for their choice of attendance day(s); price includes meals:

  • Monday through Wednesday $197
